Dr. Anvar loves his profession and spends much of his time volunteering throughout the state. He co-founded the Persian Dental Association at NYU College of Dentistry. He created an annual Oral Cancer Screening event at CitiField, and also was instrumental in setting up New York States first Mission of Mercy, held in Albany which brought volunteer dentists from all over the state and treated over 1000 patients in one weekend, providing nearly $1 Million dollars in free dental care! Dr. Anvar is a proud graduate from the American Dental Association's prestigious Institute for Diversity in Leadership program. This is a one year program with the Kellog School of Business, with only 12 dentists/year selected.

Dr. Bijan Anvar
A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Anvar has been serving the community for many years. In 2013 he was elected as the state chair for the New York State Dental Associations Council on Dental Practice. His most recent accomplishment, Dr. Anvar was elected President of the Queens County Dental Society. He is very involved in all aspectives of his profession and lectures on Oral Cancer and dental informatics and technology.
Dr. Anvar receiving congressional proclamation from Congresswoman Grace Meng stating that January 18 will now be known as Dr. Bijan Anvar Day.
Dr. Anvar being installed as the president of the Queens County Dental Society.
